

Over the past three years we have been increasingly involved in working with other production companies. In the period June 2007 to October 2008 James was in Alaska and Hawaii shooting a feature film with KiahKeya Productions, 2008 saw us in Northern Uganda shooting a documentary with Wizardflex/Indiananimate Productions and 2009 has been a rush of shoots with Great Lakes Films Ltd, National Geographic Film and Television and a whole raft of stills shoots for several prominent Safari companies.

'EM PERIGO' (ENDANGERED)(3 x26'/1 x 55') ( Earthmedia Imaging and Film/Catembe Productions)- Two young Mozambican adventurers go in search of the rarest sea mammal in East Africa, the mythical dugong. Along the way they are helped by a fisherman who guides them to a place where they can finally dive down and see the animal for the first time.

A DUGONG'S TALE (- The East African dugong (Dugon dugon) is thought to have been the inspiration for tales of mermaids in the Mozambique Channel. This film looks at the changing environment that these incredible animals live in and the threats to their survival.


'MANGROVE- TIDAL ROOTS' (55'). A film on the endangered mangrove ecosystems of Mozambique. This won the prize for the Best Environmental Education film of the festival at CINE ECO 2005, Seia, Portugal. NORAD (Norwegian Overseas Development Aid) provided funding for the mass duplication of the film.


'JUNTOS SOMOS...'(2007). A film focussing on the experiences of 5 self help groups of PLWHIVA (People living with HIV/AIDS) in Moçambique. Funded by DANIDA, and produced by IBIS/EDUCAIDS, this film is in use by the National Aids Council (1X 33')
'A DUGONG'S TALE' (2007). Hi-Definition film exploring the world of the disappearing dugongs of East Africa’s Coastline (UNDERWATER) (Earthmedia Imaging and Film/Catembe Productions/The Dugong Trust )
'SAVE THE SEA: Shark Fins' (2006). PSA for ANNAI/EOTH on the reality of the Shark finning industry in Moçambique. (1 x 5')
'MANDA WILDERNESS- Best Practices and Lessons Learned' (2005). A 25-minute film examining a community based conservation and eco-tourism project in the North of Moçambique. (1 x 25')
'SMOKE: THE SECRET GARDEN' (2000). An old man with green fingers and a need to make ends meet. Alf has begun to subsidise his pension with his own 'homegrown' cottage industry. Smoke explores issues of morality and just how blurred the boundaries between right and wrong have become.(1 x 10')
