Earthmedia Imaging and Film is an award winning production company based in Uganda, the heart of the Great Lakes region of Africa. As an HD equipped full service company we specialise in wildlife documentaries and we are uniquely placed to work on all film and photographic projects focussed on international development and humanitarian issues.
HOW WE WORK:
New ideas and subjects require innovative approaches. Since its inception Earthmedia has taken a people-centered approach to media production, drawing on local expertise to ensure that the program we create is culturally sensitive, and thus hits its target audience. Detailed proposals that outline style, content and cost are developed only after extensive discussion, planning and research. From this basis we are able to ensure that we deliver on time and to budget.
WHERE WE WORK:
We are an HD equipped full service production company with experience working globally from South America to South Asia, but our specialisation is in Africa. From our base in Uganda, Earthmedia is the natural choice for all your production needs.
WILDLIFE AND DOCUMENTARY
Earth Media has worked in some of the worlds most challenging environments but wherever we go we aim to tread lightly. Clients have included; National Geographic TV, BBC NHU, WWF, IUCN and The Jane Goodall Institute.
INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT/HUMANITARIAN
The needs of NGO's, bilateral agencies and non-profits are diverse. To date we have worked with a number of organisations including; OXFAM, NORAD, DANIDA, Irish Aid, MICOA (Mozambican Ministry of the Environment), CDS (Centre for Sustainable Development), MINTUR (Mozambican Ministry of Tourism Protected areas division).

NEWS
October 2009: We have the kit. The Panasonic HPX2700 P2 Varicam is an amazing camera. Currently in use on many blue chip films it is the new industry standard. Coupled with our Canon HJ40x10 IASD image stabilized super telephoto, it is the ultimate wildlife kit.
August 2009: We are about to take delivery of a new HD kit... more to come soon...
July 2009: James Ewen has just returned after a long shoot for National Geographic. More to come soon....
